UNA GIORNATA DA RICORDARE PARTE II *** A DAY TO REMEMBER PART # 2

THE LOCAL FLEA MARKET
Just a wee bit disappointed for what we had to leave behind, we were heading for the car when my eye (indeed well trained after many years of bargain hunting) caught the sight of a small flea market. What a pleasant unexpected coincidence! A stroll through the vendors' stalls was immediatly regarded by me as the best possible way to end a wonderful afternoon. Too bad my hubby didn't see it that way and waited for me in the car. MEN!
Not too many vendors but the variety and quality of the treasures they were exhibiting was beautiful and they were also beautifully displayed. I regret not having taken "enough change" along as I wasn't expecting any special occasion for shopping.
Have a look at the merchandise, especially the decorated Greek Orthodox tubs or cribs (I didn't ask but I guess that's the purpose they served). Aren't they seimply gorgoeus? BTW Does anybody out there in blogland know what they are for? Just asking out of mere curiosity. I could also look it up on the internet but tonight I' a little lazy and need to catch up some sleep. I've become blog-addict and go to bed very late, which, having to get up early to go to work, doesn't exactly add to my "natural beauty" and makes me look rather tired and wrinky.
Tomorrow will me by first White Wednesday and I mkust admit I'm quite excited!Enough of writing, let's go for a stroll. Had I had money in my purse, I would have bought a whole bunch of things. But I guess it was better that way. Our apartment is soooooo small that there's barely enough space for us and the dog.
